REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) garandeert dat gebruikers over exacte informatie betreffende de soort en eigenschappen van de bedrijfsmiddelen, smeermiddelen enz. beschikken waarmee zij in aanraking kunnen komen.
Deze componenten zijn beschermd tegen elektrostatische ontlading. Elektrische onderdelen kunnen door statische ontlading beschadigd raken. ESD-safe-onderdelen zorgen voor een veilige potentiaalvereffening.

It’s time to set the wheels in motion! Building transport trolleys with high load-carrying capacities is now easier than ever when using Swivel and Fixed Castors from item. The new models satisfy the high requirements in industry and skilled trades. The robust Castors, available in diameters D100, D125, D160 and D200, are easy-running and ideally suited to typical transport tasks. Each can be supplied as a Swivel Castor, Swivel Castor with double-brake or a Fixed Castor – and each in a standard and an ESD-safe design. Stable ball bearings and wheel bodies made of polyamide 6 ensure the Castors provide a long service life. The tyre of the wheels consists of high-grade, abrasion-resistant polyurethane.
The integrated Adapter Plate with four holes provides a stable fixing. Operating forces are reliably transmitted to the frame. Fastening Set 8 for Castor swivel/fixed 140x110 is to be used for installation purposes.
The Swivel Castor with double-brake uses a foot-operated catch to lock the wheel in a specific position and direction so that it cannot move. If a trolley with four Swivel Castors is to be used in a train with other trolleys, the swivelling action of the castors on one axis must be locked. The optional Swivel Lock is used for this purpose and can also be retrofitted.
The high quality standard is unmistakeable.
Note: The 100 percent dissipative capacity of the antistatic Castors is ensured up to 65 percent of the maximum load. If loads on the Castors exceed this level, the ability of the Castors to dissipate electrostatic charges can be impaired. As a preventive measure, it is advisable to choose a larger castor diameter with a higher load-carrying capacity.
Swivel and Fixed Castors can be fixed to frames made using Line 8 profiles via the four holes in the integrated connecting plate. Alternatively, the Castors can be fixed to two parallel Profiles 8 D30. These tubes from Profile Tube System D30 feature an integral Line 8 groove. The corresponding Fastening Set 8 for Castor swivel/fixed makes installation easy.
Carrying capacity 260 kg/castor
The specified carrying capacities are maximum values under ideal operating conditions, at walking speed (max. 4 km/h) and over smooth and flat surfaces. If the floor is uneven and weight badly distributed, the load on the castor should be calculated in accordance with the following formula:
The Castors have good rolling properties and a high load-carrying capacity and are able to withstand most environmental influences.
Antistatic Castors can also be supplied specifically for use in the electronics sector. They have appropriate tyres and a continuously conductive wheel/casing. The discharge resistance of the antistatic model is 105 Ω.
Note:
Operating conditions such as speed, load, soiling, overall mileage, etc. can have a detrimental effect on dissipation resistance. To ensure mobile solutions are electrostatically dissipative, it is advisable to take additional precautions such as fitting an ESD Drag Chain (0.0.671.88).
To verify the relevant properties, regular checks in line with the IEC 61340 standard should be carried out throughout the service life of the solution.
In the case of higher speeds (>4 km/h), it is important to take into account the higher dynamic load and evaluate the overall construction accordingly.
